The Wirrpanda Foundation is a charity based in Australia that promotes and supports the indigenous aboriginal population across Australia. They provide access and help to achieve many numerous goals, from education programs, driver training to sports related activites.
The original website had become old and outdated and was compromised. The site was cleaned and secured whilst a new modern and up to date website was developed. Utilising the latest Joomla CMS and a fully bespoke, custom designed and built template the new website promotes and informs visitors how and where various programs are available across Australia. A dynamic social media feed reduces the constant need to update the site with new content, whilst a secure login allows administrators to add content and dedicated news articles.
HTML5 animation was used to create a navigable map on the homepage showing the various locations and programs available.
Fullscreen photography lifts the visual design of the site and creates a 'wow' factor when the homepage is loaded.
The entire project was managed via email and Skype conversation between the UK and Australia.
